Hacked Site + Fixes...
Just got back from my vacation. Contemplating the return to work makes me feel major emo-ness right now :<
I was kind of annoyed to find while I was away that the site (especially the gallery portion) got hacked with a particularly vicious trojan. Needless to say I was really pissed off and annoyed at whoever the perpetrators are that chose to target a small personal site like this D:
Anyways, I spent a morning during vaca scrubbing database files and such. As far as I can tell things should be back to normal. If however you hit pixel ellipsis sometime in the last two weeks or so (around December 19 - December 30) and have been experiencing browser problems as a result please check out this blog for the fix: Yahoo! Counter Starts Trojan Advice: an approach to dealing with this nasty trojan. I also read somewhere that this trojan may exploit old versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader - related to this identified vulnerability - which I hope is fixable if you uninstall then reinstall the latest version of Adobe Reader, available on the Adobe site.

Since I'm going on vacation soon, I figured I should try to knock out some walls before I leave. Playing with the textures for this wall ended up being a lot of fun.
I'm going to have a summery Christmas this year. I absolutely can't wait! :D
Small gallery tweaks and +1 link exchange
Played around with some PHP today for the wallpaper and resource image galleries - nothing big, but something I've wanted to learn to do for a while now. Basically wasted an entire afternoon/night on changing some of the image displays but I'm glad I finally did it :]
Also, super belated, but I was surfing around a while back and happened to stumble across Shini's Cyanide. I was immediately impressed with her site and her designs, so I decided to break my laziness streak and request a link exchange with her. Definitely was glad when she said yes - so swing over and check out the awesomes!
Simple Drift
+1 Blog Entry: Samurai Champloo Episode 1 - 6 [Spoilers]
I first tried watching Samurai Champloo in college and I remember not liking it very much then. At that time I thought it had too much blood and violence, which just goes to show how squeamish I used to be xD; Randomly, what got me over my squeamishness was this strangely grotesque dream involving several Harry Potter characters. Not going to go into too much details there…
Anyways, my Champloo watching attempt #1 involved me skipping from episode 1 or 2 straight to the last episode because again, I thought this series was just going to end up being very repetitive (and again, too violent for my general tastes back then). I started on my Champloo attempt #2 recently and of course, completely reversed my opinion. I’m in the middle of indulging in massive adoration of this series right now. Just goes to show that there usually are very good reasons why popular shows are popular.
